Bathford C.C. Matt Fowle
Matt Fowle aka 'Fowler' (Original I know)
From rival village Batheaston, however found the opportunity to play alongside living legends such as Stan Cherry, Derek Brown and Roger Millbank, irresistible. Taken under the Old Speckled wing of Dave 'Robbo' Robinson, aged 15. Learned how to dodge, weave and drink cider thanks to some painfully early Sunday morning batting practises taken by the Ball bros. Gradually moved up through the batting order. Won the Junior Single Wicket Trophy versus Rich Holmes in the final 1994, and Young Cricketer of the Year 1993. After spending the previous 4 years travelling the World, has returned to play for Bathford this year hoping to re-kindle some old form, fond memories, and a round that Baller has owed for five years.
