Bathford C.C.
Dave Porter, Martin Gale & Pete Ginnever
- the 'missing men' -

Dave Porter
Every club needs someone to set the tone, David 'DP' 'Porky' Porter was our man. A larger than life, Falstaffian figure, Dave is an important player in many of the 'stories' associated with the club. Dave is unfortunately missing in action at present, last seen in Bradford on Avon. A 3/4 empty pint of cider remains, in perpetuity, for him in the 'Round of Death'.
Martin Gale
Stop press - May 2001: Galer has returned, and he has not lost his exceptional running ability between wickets, or his ability to bowl long hops when under pressure.

'Galer' is another one of the missing men, at present lost in Southdown, Bath. As a bowler of fairly rapid long hops, he terrorised a lot of Wiltshire League batsmen, and was additionally an occasional big hitting batsman and an exceptional fielder. If you see this man please return him.

Pete Ginnever
An attacking batsman, 'Ginno' is another missing man. After some years of doling out the National Lotteries money, and successfully protecting us from foreign invasion, the lure of filthy lucre has led him to move to Manchester to be a rich person's personal organiser. Shame on you Ginno, we want you back.
Note: Ginno has submitted a player profile, with photo, conclusively proving that the camera does lie. He would also like to say he is not working as a butler, but is still defending Britain.

Rollover the map of England & Wales for the last known sitings.
